Rūta Voitechovičiūtė

Rūta is a historian from Vilnius and one of the best-known Barbie collectors in Lithuania, having collected dolls for more than 13 years. Her collection currently includes over 730 different Barbie dolls. Since Barbie’s 60th anniversary in 2019, Rūta unexpectedly became one of the leading faces of the Barbie collector community in Lithuania – thanks not only to her impressive collection, but also to her background as a historian, remarkable memory, and extensive knowledge of Barbie history and cultural impact. Over the past seven years, she has organized ten exhibitions in Vilnius, Kaunas, Šiauliai, and Panevėžys, appeared in television features, and given interviews to Lithuanian media outlets
