Meinardas Valkevičius graduated from the Vilnius Academy of Arts in 2010 with a BA in Animation. The Academy’s graduation work “The False Moon” travelled to many film festivals around the world and received a lot of attention. In 2012, Meinart founded the animation studio “Meinart”, whose main vision is to create vivid and creative animation in search of new forms of storytelling. He has created several short animated films, such as RGB, TREE, LOOK and PATRICK. In 2023, as a director and producer, he created one of the biggest full-length animated films in Lithuania, KAKE MAKE: MY FILM. Meinard has already been nominated twice at the National Film Awards “Silver Crane” for Best Animated Film. Meinard is currently working as a producer on the short animated film TEN and directing his second full-length animated film “The Runaway House”.
