Laini Taylor

Laini Taylor is the award-winning, internationally bestselling author of the Daughter of Smoke & Bone trilogy and the Strange the Dreamer duology, among other titles. Her books have been translated into more than thirty languages, and she absolutely loves seeing her foreign editions (though meeting readers in other countries is even better!). Most recently, her first novels–Guardians of Dreamdark: Windwitch and Silksinger–are being republished in beautiful new editions, and forthcoming is an adult fantasy novel she has been writing for a number of years and can’t wait to share with readers. She lives with her husband, comic artist and author Jim Di Bartolo, their daughter Clementine, two cats, and a yeti in Portland, Oregon, where they can occasionally be found in the streets, protesting the evil empire in inflatable shark costumes. She runs an active international writing community on Patreon, is an artist, and loves to travel.
