Naru

Hi! I’m Naru, a nonbinary cosplayer from Germany. I’ve been cosplaying since quite some time – since 2005!

I am most known for my wig and make-up skills and creative shooting concepts. Being genderfluid, I don’t want to conform to typical gender stereotypes. I play around a lot with gender while focusing on male cosplays. Most of my cosplays are self-made. I love learning new techniques and skills while working on a cosplay, be it how to knot wigs, how to cast rubber or resin or how to make shoes from foam.

I am also a big fan of creating the perfect photo shooting for a character: a fitting location, a well thought-through shooting concept and the matching outfit and make-up, especially when the concept is a bit more artsy and aesthetic.
