Benjamin Byron Davis
Benjamin Byron Davis is an American actor, writer, director, and acting coach.
He began his career in theater and later successfully expanded into television, film, and the video game industry. On television, Davis has appeared in popular series such as Without a Trace, Criminal Minds, Gilmore Girls, MADtv, and Six Feet Under.
Davis gained his greatest recognition for his work in video games, providing both voice and motion capture performance for the iconic character Dutch van der Linde in Red Dead Redemption and Red Dead Redemption 2. This role became one of the defining achievements of his career and earned him international acclaim among gaming audiences.
In film, Davis has played notable roles in Ant-Man and the Wasp, Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3, The Belko Experiment, and others. In 2024, he appeared in the film Borderlands, portraying the character Marcus.
Davis attended Noble and Greenough School in Massachusetts, later studied at the University of Chicago, and earned his acting degree with honors from New York University’s Tisch School of the Arts.
Outside of his work, Benjamin Byron Davis is known for his warmth, sense of humor, and passion for teaching young actors.
