The Voices of “Split Fiction” Live: Elsie Bennett and Kaja Chan to Attend “Comic Con Baltics 2026”

Lithuania will welcome the voice actresses behind the lead characters of the globally acclaimed game Split Fiction, Elsie Bennett and Kaja Chan. During “Comic Con Baltics 2026”, taking place on May 22-24, visitors will have the opportunity to meet the performers whose voices and character portrayals have become an integral part of the game’s success.

Split Fiction is the third title developed by Swedish game studio “Hazelight Studios”. All of the studio’s games (“A Way Out”, “It Takes Two”) are distinguished by a unique format, they are designed exclusively for two players. Split Fiction tells the story of two strangers, Zoe and Mio, who unexpectedly become trapped in the fantasy worlds they themselves created. To escape, they are forced to cooperate and overcome constantly shifting challenges, ranging from futuristic laser battles to dragon flights. Alongside its dynamic adventures, the game unfolds a story about creativity, trust, and confronting one’s inner demons. Within the first two days of its release, more than one million copies of “Split Fiction” were sold.

Kaja Chan, who voices Mio, is known not only to gaming audiences but also to television viewers. She has appeared in productions such as “Bridgerton” and “1899”. “Split Fiction” is not her first project in the gaming industry; she has also contributed to “Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty”, “Foamstars”, and “The First Descendant”.

Elsie Bennett, the voice behind Zoe, has built an extensive career in the gaming industry. Her voice can be heard in the “Hitman” trilogy, “Control”, “Subnautica: Below Zero”, “Ghost Recon Breakpoint”, and “Squadron 42”.

The creators of “Split Fiction” describe the project as something of a laboratory for voice actors. During character development, the team actively experimented with vocal qualities such as timbre, rhythm, and accent. According to the creative team, the American accent of Bennett’s character Zoe was carefully adjusted to ensure players could clearly distinguish between the two protagonists in different situations.

“After evaluating feedback from last year’s festival attendees, we aim to bring even more creators shaping contemporary popular culture to Lithuania this year. Elsie and Kaja represent a new generation of actors for whom video games are not just technology, but another powerful medium for telling emotionally engaging stories,” says festival co-organizer Tomas Vievesis.

In addition to representatives of the gaming industry, the festival will also host one of today’s most prominent animation creators, Mike Hollingsworth. He served as supervising director of the Netflix animated series “BoJack Horseman”, well known to Lithuanian audiences. The episode he directed, Fish Out of Water, won the prestigious Annecy Cristal Award in 2017 and was recognized as the best television episode of the year. Throughout his career, Hollingsworth has worked as a writer, director, and executive producer on projects such as Inside Job, Cat Burglar, and Tuca & Bertie, and is currently collaborating with Illumination.

Festival organizers plan to continue announcing new guest names right up until the event. Confirmed participants include voice actors Benjamin Byron Davis (Dutch van der Linde) and Peter Blomquist (Micah Bell) from “Red Dead Redemption 2”, as well as Tim Downie (Gale Dekarios) from the popular video game “Baldur’s Gate 3”. The festival will also feature actors Mark Pellegrino (“Supernatural”, “Lost”), Finn Jones (“Iron Fist”, “Game of Thrones”), and American actor and director Nathan Kress, known to millions as Freddie Benson from the cult series “iCarly”.

Now in its eighth year, “Comic Con Baltics 2026” is a next-generation entertainment festival that annually brings creators and actors from cult films, television series, comics, and video games to Vilnius. From May 22-24, visitors will be able to try out the latest and already iconic video games and play alongside top content creators in the “Baltics Gaming Expo” zone. The “Meet Lithuanian Film Industry” program will offer meetings with Lithuanian filmmakers and presentations of the newest films. The festival will also host its now-traditional international Cosplay and K-Pop dance competitions. A dedicated Family Zone will be available for the youngest festival attendees.
