“Red Dead Redemption” legend at the “Comic Con Baltics 2026” festival: Dutch van der Linde is coming to Vilnius

Over the past years, the “Comic Con Baltics” festival has established itself not only as the largest festival of its kind in the Baltic States, but has also become a recognized platform where actors from the most famous film and video game projects meet their fans. In 2025, the next-generation entertainment festival occupied more than 33,600 sq. m. and attracted more than 35,000 visitors. These numbers prove that “Comic Con Baltics” has become an integral part of the region’s cultural life.

The first guest of the 2026 festival is Benjamin Byron Davis

The Comic Con Baltics festival team has announced the first festival guest of 2026, who will definitely impress thousands of pop culture fans. He is the actor whose voice and performance brought to life one of the most memorable and complex characters, the charismatic gang leader Dutch van der Linde from Rockstar Games’ Red Dead Redemption and Red Dead Redemption 2.

Dutch van der Linde is one of the most complex antiheroes in modern pop culture. He is not only a villain, but also a tragic figure whose idealism, charisma and eloquence clash with harsh reality and growing paranoia that leads to his downfall. For many players, Dutch was a mystery: an educated, philosophical thinker dreaming about freedom, yet at the same time a ruthless criminal. This inner conflict between idealist and tyrant made him one of the most memorable characters in video game history.

Beyond the Wild West: a versatile actor

Benjamin Byron Davis’ journey in creating Dutch van der Linde is a story of its own. It was not a short-term project, the actor dedicated five years of his life to this role. This long and complex process included not only constant travel between New York and Los Angeles, but also memorizing more than 2,000 pages of script and spending hours wearing a motion capture suit.

Although the role of Dutch van der Linde is undoubtedly the peak of Benjamin Byron Davis’ career, his talent and versatility extend much further. The actor’s career includes many well-known projects, allowing Davis to share numerous stories with fans of different franchises.

Benjamin Byron Davis is also well known to fans of the biggest cinematic universes. In the Marvel Cinematic Universe, he appeared as Agent Burleigh in “Ant-Man and the Wasp” and had a role in the third installment of “Guardians of the Galaxy”. His collaboration with director James Gunn continues in the DC universe, where he voices the villain Rupert Thorne in the animated series “Creature Commandos”. In addition, Davis appeared in the film adaptation of the video game “Borderlands”, where he plays weapons dealer Marcus Kincaid alongside stars such as Cate Blanchett and Jack Black.
