“Guardians of the Galaxy” and “Gilmore Girls” Star Sean Gunn in Lithuania

The charismatic actor Sean Gunn, best known for his roles in the Marvel Cinematic Universe’s “Guardians of the Galaxy,” arrived in Lithuania on Friday. The purpose of the actor’s visit is to meet with fans at the largest pop culture event in the Baltic States, “Comic Con Baltics 2024 Powered by Samsung.” He is accompanied by his wife, actress Natasha Halevi.

Actor S. Gunn, who is visiting Lithuania, began his career with the eccentric role of Kirk Gleason in the popular TV series “Gilmore Girls.” His sense of humor and ability to create memorable characters opened the doors to Hollywood for him.

S. Gunn is best known for his roles in projects like “Guardians of the Galaxy” and “The Suicide Squad.” This year, the actor will return to screens with the animated series “Creature Commandos,” in which he voices Weasel and G.I. Robot.

“I invite everyone living pop culture to meet this weekend. I can’t wait to see you!” said S. Gunn as he walked through the doors of Vilnius Airport.

S. Gunn arrived in Lithuania with his wife, actress and director Natasha Halevi. During the event, the couple will share their experiences on how actors manage to balance work and family life.

Other famous actors and content creators have already arrived in Lithuania to meet with fans – including Adrian Paul, who portrayed Duncan MacLeod in the series “Highlander,” “Harry Potter” actors Devon Murray and Natalia Tena, Rob DenBleyker, creator of the webcomic “Cyanide & Happiness,” Nathan W. Pyle, creator of “Strange Planet” comics, and internet personality “Nobody Sausage.”

In addition to meetings with famous actors and online content creators, the event will feature presentations of the latest computer games and technologies, the largest cosplay contest in the Baltics, film presentations, discussions, an interactive family area, an “Artist Alley,” a vendor area, and many other attractions.

The project is partially funded by the Vilnius City Municipality.
