Hello, starlights! My name is Devon Demon, and I’m a fellow cosplayer from Lithuania.

I made my first “serious” cosplay back in 2017, but I would say that my interest in costumes and stages started way earlier, when I was around 7 years old and participated in a play for the first time. I remember screaming inside with joy when they picked me to play a butterfly, and I thought that the wings of my costume were the best thing I’ve ever seen. Fast forward multiple years, and now I’m here 🙂

To me, the most satisfying part of making a cosplay is figuring out how to create something that seems impossible at first. It’s such a rewarding experience to see the thing you were planning in your head day and night for months finally come to life with your own two hands. One of my personal mottos is “How hard can it be??” So no matter how difficult and overwhelming things get, I always tend to experiment and figure it out in the end, gaining new skills in the process. So don’t be afraid to improvise and do whatever you feel is right! The most important part of cosplay is having fun! If you want to know the second motto, ask me at the convention hahah!

I especially love making huge costumes. The more complicated and harder to move in – the better. Extra points if I’m cosplaying a villain. But no matter how big or small, each costume is priceless to me, as it holds dear memories I have recorded in my heart forever.
