“Comic Con Baltics” contributes to strengthening Japanese culture by supporting “Anime Nights”

The largest pop culture event in the Baltic States, “Comic Con Baltics 2024 powered by Samsung,” announces its continued partnership with “Anime Nights,” the largest event for Japanese animation and culture in Kaunas. This collaboration is expected to promote the growth of Cosplay culture in Lithuania and allow a broader audience to explore various aspects of Japanese culture.

“Comic Con Baltics always strives to support various areas of pop culture, and ‘Anime Nights’ is a great event that brings together a multitude of Japanese animation and culture enthusiasts,” says Tomas Vievesis, organizer of “Comic Con Baltics 2024 powered by Samsung.”

Pleased with the ongoing partnership

The organizers of “Anime Nights” are pleased with the partnership that has lasted for several years with “Comic Con Baltics.” This collaboration not only develops Cosplay culture in Lithuania and provides a platform for new cosplayers but also introduces a piece of Japanese culture to the Lithuanian public.

“We are proud to have the opportunity to continue our cooperation and are happy that we could contribute to the ‘Comic Con Baltics 2023’ event, during which we organized a panel on Anime themes,” says Tautvydas Jasevičius, one of the organizers of the “Anime Nights” event.

“Anime Nights” – a step into the world of Japanese culture

“Anime Nights” is an event that unites all those interested in Japanese animation and culture. The annual festival held in Kaunas attracts numerous participants not only from Lithuania but also from abroad.

During the day, visitors can immerse themselves in various lectures revealing the subtleties of Japanese culture. Interesting contests, such as AMV, art, and the unforgettable Cosplay contest, offer a chance to showcase talents and compete with like-minded individuals. Artist Alley invites attendees to admire unique works and purchase authentic souvenirs.

After the daytime activities, “Anime Nights” invites attendees to dive into a two-night adventure filled with the magic of Japanese animation. Various anime films and series are shown during the event, and there are meetings with international guests and a plethora of other entertainments.

“Anime Nights” will take place at the KTU Santaka Valley from May 3–5.
