“Stargate SG-1” and “God of War” star Christopher Judge to visit Vilnius for the first time

One of the most prominent actors in science fiction and video games, Christopher Judge, will meet fans in Vilnius on May 22–24 at the “Comic Con Baltics 2026 sponsored by Samsung” festival. This will mark the first visit to Lithuania by the actor who portrayed the legendary Teal’c in the series “Stargate SG-1”.

The television series “Stargate SG-1”, which aired for more than a decade, established Christopher Judge as one of the most recognizable actors in the science fiction genre. His portrayal of Teal’c became not only a symbol of the series but also one of its most beloved characters. The show achieved significant international success, was well known among science fiction fans in Lithuania, and over time became a cult classic of the genre.

In recent years, Christopher Judge has once again captured global audiences with his portrayal of Kratos in the critically acclaimed “God of War” video game series. His performance earned top industry recognition, including The Game Awards honor for Best Performance.

“Christopher Judge is an actor whose roles connect different generations—from fans of classic science fiction to modern gaming enthusiasts. His personal story and career path are truly remarkable, and we hope visitors will find inspiration in his journey,” say the organizers of Comic Con Baltics.

“Comic Con Baltics 2026 sponsored by Samsung” will take place in Vilnius and, as tradition holds, will bring together fans of films, TV series, gaming, and popular culture from across the region. The actor will participate throughout all three days of the festival. Visitors can expect autograph and photo sessions, as well as the opportunity to hear the actor’s stories during panel discussions.

The following voice actors have already confirmed their participation in “Comic Con Baltics 2026 sponsored by Samsung”: Benjamin Byron Davis (Dutch van der Linde) and Peter Blomquist (Micah Bell) from “Red Dead Redemption 2”, Tim Downie (Gale Dekarios) and Samantha Béart (Karlach) from the popular video game “Baldur’s Gate 3”, as well as Elsie Bennett (Zoe) and Kaja Chan (Mio) from the game “Split Fiction”. The festival will also feature actors Mark Pellegrino (“Supernatural”, “Lost”), and American actor and director Nathan Kress, known to millions as Freddie Benson from the культ series “iCarly”. Additionally, a new dedicated authors’ zone will debut this year, where fantasy writers Alwyn Hamilton, Adrienne Young, and Laini Taylor will present their work.

Now in its eighth year, “Comic Con Baltics 2026 sponsored by Samsung” is a next-generation entertainment festival that annually brings creators and actors from iconic films, TV series, comics, and video games to Vilnius. From May 22–24, visitors will have the opportunity to try out the latest and already iconic video games and play them alongside top influencers in the “Baltics Gaming Expo” area. The “Meet Lithuanian Film Industry” program will offer meetings with Lithuanian filmmakers and presentations of the latest films. The festival will also host the now traditional international Cosplay and K-Pop dance competitions. A dedicated “Family Area” will be available for the youngest attendees.

The festival is partially funded by the Vilnius City Municipality.
