Rob Wiethoff, the Voice of John Marston, Returns to Lithuania for Comic Con Baltics

Rob Wiethoff, the voice actor behind “Red Dead Redemption’s” John Marston, is set to return to Lithuania for “Comic Con Baltics 2025”, taking place from May 23-25, 2025. His visit comes following high demand from local fans, who expressed their enthusiasm for his return during an online interaction.

Wiethoff will be joined by Roger Clark, known for voicing Arthur Morgan in “Red Dead Redemption 2”. This will be the first time both lead actors from the RDR series will appear together at the event, offering fans a unique opportunity to meet them in person.

Although Red Dead Redemption 2  was released back in 2018, it remains one of the most popular and played video games to this day. It has sold 70 million copies worldwide, and in February, the game set a new Steam record with almost one hundred thousand concurrent players.

The decision to bring Wiethoff back to Lithuania was largely influenced by fans. During a live stream, a Lithuanian fan inquired about the possibility of his return, prompting Wiethoff to express his willingness to visit again.

“When we announced Roger Clark’s attendance, many Red Dead Redemption fans urged us to invite Rob Wiethoff as well. Hearing directly from Rob that he would be interested in returning made the decision easy. His first visit was met with enthusiasm, and we anticipate an engaging event with both actors present,” said Comic Con Baltics organizer Tomas Vievesis.

Rob Wiethoff gained widespread recognition for his portrayal of John Marston in Red Dead Redemption (2010) and Red Dead Redemption 2 (2018). His performance earned him the “Outstanding Character Performance Award” from the Academy of Interactive Arts & Sciences, highlighting his impact in the gaming industry.

Despite stepping away from acting for a period, Wiethoff remains connected with the gaming community, frequently engaging with fans online and participating in industry events.

Now in its seventh year, “Comic Con Baltics 2025” has become an impactful pop culture festival bringing together actors, game developers, comic book artists, and industry professionals. The festival attracts thousands of attendees, offering panels, meet-and-greet sessions, and interactive experiences.

This year’s lineup also includes Jack Gleeson (Game of Thrones’ Joffrey Baratheon), Roger Clark, and well-known comic book creators Valerie Minelli (Mrs. Frollein) and Luis Coelho (purr.in.ink). From May 23-25, attendees will also be able to test the latest and most iconic video games and play them alongside some of the most popular content creators at the Baltics Gaming Expo.
