GTA V actors Ned Luke and Shawn Fonteno to visit Vilnius for “Comic Con Baltics 2025 Sponsored by Samsung”

Two key voice and motion capture actors from “Grand Theft Auto V”, Ned Luke (Michael De Santa) and Shawn Fonteno (Franklin Clinton), are set to appear at “Comic Con Baltics 2025 sponsored by Samsung”. This will mark their first visit to Lithuania.

Ned Luke is a seasoned Hollywood actor, best known in the gaming world for his portrayal of Michael – a former criminal trying to lead a quiet life in the suburbs. Shawn Fonteno, originally from South Los Angeles and rooted in hip-hop culture, drew from personal experiences to shape Franklin, a young man navigating ambition and survival in a complex urban environment.

Released in 2013, “Grand Theft Auto V” remains one of the most commercially successful and culturally influential video games in history. With over 210 million copies sold, the title continues to shape gaming and internet culture worldwide – from memes and music to mods and machinima.

With “Grand Theft Auto VI”  confirmed for release this year, anticipation is building. The new game will return to Vice City – a fictional setting inspired by Miami – and introduce Lucia, the franchise’s first female protagonist.

In this context, the presence of Ned Luke and Shawn Fonteno at “Comic Con Baltics 2025 sponsored by Samsung” offers fans a timely opportunity to engage with the legacy of GTA V and reflect on the franchise’s evolution over the past decade.

This year’s appearance by Ned Luke and Shawn Fonteno offers “Grand Theft Auto V” fans a rare opportunity to complete their autograph collection with all three main protagonists”, says Tomas Vievesis, one of the organizers of “Comic Con Baltics”.

“Comic Con Baltics 2025 sponsored by Samsung” will take place May 23–25 at LITEXPO in Vilnius. Now in its seventh year, the festival continues to grow into one of the most exciting pop culture events in the region—bringing together creators and stars from iconic films, series, comics, and video games. Visitors will also be able to try the latest and most beloved games at the “Baltics Gaming Expo”, where they can play side by side with top influencers. “The Meet Lithuanian Film Industry” program will offer exclusive access to Lithuanian filmmakers and new film premieres. The festival will also feature the largest Cosplay contest in the Baltics and the first-ever K-Pop dance contest. Both contests will be presented by McDonald’s. A dedicated family zone will be available for the youngest visitors.

Other confirmed guests for Comic Con Baltics 2025 include Ed Westwick, best known for his portrayal of Chuck Bass in the “Gossip Girl”, Jack Gleeson, known for his role as Joffrey Baratheon in Game of Thrones; Roger Clark and Rob Wiethoff, the voices behind the hit game Red Dead Redemption 2; and Tom McKay and Luke Dale, stars of the upcoming Kingdom Come: Deliverance II. The festival will also host comic creators such as Valerie Minelli (Mrs. Frollein), Luis Coelho (aka purr.in.ink), and Andrés J. Colmenares, the mind behind Wawawiwa Comics.
