The most popular „HBO“ TV series „Game of Thrones“ attracts people from all around the world the screens of their TVs. This wave of popularity did not miss the Baltic region and that is why two of the actors from the show will come to Lithuania on the first weekend of December. Eugene Simon, who played Lansel Lanister, and Ian Beattie, who played Lord Meryn Trant, will attend first pop culture event „Comic Con Baltics“ on 2-3 December in Vilnius, Lithuania.
„Game of Thrones“ aired for the first time in 2011. The popularity was massive for adaptation of George R. R. Martin‘s best-selling novels series „A Song of Ice and Fire“. Every year TV show is braking new records. This year, when season 7 aired its first epizode, over 10,7 million viewers watched the show in the US alone. Not once „Game of Thrones“ was recognized as the most pirated TV series. Geographically, „Game of Thrones“ is being filmed in almost half of the world and the main stars sometimes do not even meet each other on set. Series are being shot in the United Kingdom, Ireland, Iceland, Croatia, Spain, Morocco and Malta.
Eugene Simon and Ian Beattie are coming to Lithuania for the first time and they will share their experiences in acting in this popular TV series, their vision and some extra fun unformation. Visitors of the event will have the possibility not just to listen to them but also to ask question during Q&A sessions. The Stars will participate in the event for the whole weekend so everyone will have an opportunity to get their autograph or take a Picture together.
