One of the biggest movie hits from last year was a comic book based movie „Deadpool“. One of the main stars of the movie Stefan Kapicic will appear on 2-3 December in pop culture event „Comic Con Baltics“ in Vilnius, Lithuania. In the highest grossing R rated movie Stefan Kapicic portrayed one of the main heroes of the story Piotr Rasputin, better known as giant x-man Colossus.
German born Serbian acto ris very well known in his homeland and was recognised even before the success of „Deadpool“. However, in Serbia, not Hollywood. He started acting from 2002 and did a leap in the US on 2008 when he started acting in TV shows like „24“, „The Unit“, „Numb3rs“ and „The Event“.
Director of „Deadpool“ movie Tim Miller was looking for a specific actor to portray Colossus. He had to be very tall, stronger than anyone else and had to have a perfect Russian accent. „My voice and accent worked perfectly for him so we practiced for a couple of days on how it actually had to sound. Finally, we came up with one optikon that was suitable for both of us. That is how Colossus was born“ – S. Kapicic told his story.
After an astonishing success of a movie, this year at San Diego „Comic-Con“ actor told that the movie itself is going to be way bigger and Colossus will have a bigger role in it. „Colossus did not get the appropriate attention in previous X-men movies and he is an iconic hero. He needed more screen time and thank god, studio with Ryan Reynolds saw the potential in this character. There will be more of Colossus in the second movie and when the fans will learn…“ – said the actor during the interview and stopped talking before spilling the secrets of the movie.
„Comic Con Baltics“ will take place on 2-3 December in Vilnius, Lithuania, exhibition centre „LITEXPO“. There will be a lot of actors from different movie and TV series.
