Meeting with Seamus and Nymphadora – Two “Harry Potter” Stars Announce a Visit to Vilnius

Potterheads were surprised to learn that this spring, Lithuania will be visited by two memorable “Harry Potter” actors. These are Devon Murray, who portrayed Seamus Finnigan in all eight films, and Natalia Tena, who played Nymphadora Tonks. The purpose of the actors’ visit is to meet fans at the biggest pop culture event in the Baltic region, “Comic Con Baltics 2024.”

“Growing up with ‘Harry Potter’ and the secret hope that the magical world truly exists, generations have been enchanted. The popularity of both the movies and books worldwide remains undiminished. Welcoming another December, most of us eagerly anticipate the opportunity to watch these films once again. The magic of ‘Harry Potter’ is associated with winter holidays, and our team couldn’t be happier to announce that this spring, fans will have the chance to meet two prominent stars of the legendary saga,” says Tomas Vievesis, one of the organizers of “Comic Con Baltics.”

Behind the Scenes of Each Film

Seamus Finnigan accompanied Harry Potter from his first moments at Hogwarts. Both characters were assigned to Gryffindor, lived in the same dormitory, attended classes together, and even visited the Quidditch pitch together. Actor Devon Murray, of Irish descent, portrayed Seamus in all eight “Potter” films and spent time behind the scenes with all the “Harry Potter” stars.

“Twenty years ago, my life changed forever. People on the street don’t call me Devon; they call me Seamus or ‘that guy from Harry Potter.’ It’s fun to be part of something so iconic”, wrote D. Murray on his Instagram.

Known for his explosive and pyrotechnic character, Seamus is one of the fourteen actors who can boast of appearing in every part of the saga.

“We have no doubt that ‘Harry Potter’ fans could spend hours listening to stories from the sets, behind the scenes, and interactions with other actors. Just open D. Murray’s social media accounts, and you’ll be captivated by unseen footage from the daily life of filming – from card games among the actors to fun moments during shooting,” says the organizer of “Comic Con Baltics.”
