Hollywood Actors Greet Thousands of Fans in Vilnius: “Lithuania is Wonderful, and Lithuanians are Very Beautiful People”

On Saturday, the sixth largest pop culture event in the Baltic States, “Comic Con Baltics 2024 powered by Samsung,” was officially opened in Vilnius. Actors and creators from globally renowned projects like “Harry Potter,” “Marvel,” “Highlander,” and others took the stage at the visually captivating “LITEXPO” scene. Throughout the weekend, attendees will have the opportunity to meet, interact with, take photos with, and even get autographs from the Hollywood stars visiting Lithuania.

The famous guests promised the assembled visitors an unforgettable weekend and shared their first impressions of their stay in Lithuania.

One of the event’s brightest stars, Adrian Paul, who played Duncan MacLeod in the series “Highlander,” was asked by the host about strange encounters with fans. He started to laugh.

“We don’t have enough time for me to tell you. There have been so many,” said the actor.

Actors from the “Harry Potter” and “Marvel” projects also greeted the assembled visitors.

“Thank you very much to everyone who came,” exclaimed actor Sean Gunn, known for his prominent roles in “Gilmore Girls” and “Guardians of the Galaxy.”

About Lithuania, Beautiful People, and Pink Soup

“Lithuania is wonderful, and Lithuanians are incredibly beautiful people,” praised “Harry Potter” and “Game of Thrones” star Natalia Tena.

When asked about their first impressions, the actors talked about Lithuanian cuisine.

“I really want to try pink soup and cepelinai,” said Natalia Tena.

“I’ve already had dumplings – they were amazing,” added Devon Murray, who played Seamus Finnigan in the “Harry Potter” films.

Internet comic creators with tens of millions of followers also greeted the first thousands of weekend visitors from the main event stage: Rob DenBleyker, the author of “Cyanide & Happiness,” the team behind “Natural Habitat Shorts,” the creators of the online personality “Nobody Sausage,” and Nathan W. Pyle, the author of “Strange Planet” comics and TV series.

“Don’t miss the exciting discussions with the stars, the huge gaming area, the family space, the artists’ alley, and the largest cosplay contest in the Baltic States,” said the event host, Professor Jaq.

Top Gamers from Across Europe

Visitors to the event will not only have the chance to learn about the behind-the-scenes creation of famous movie, TV, and online projects but also enjoy many other interactive activities.
