“Comic Con Baltics” is contributing to the VU student event MIDI 2024

“Comic Con Baltics 2024: Powered by Samsung” announces its partnership with the Faculty of Mathematics and Informatics at Vilnius University (VU MIF) in organizing the event MIDI 2024, becoming one of the event’s partners. This partnership aims to encourage student creativity and provide them with more opportunities.

“We are pleased to see that the youth spend their free time engaging in meaningful and interesting activities. Therefore, we want to support this initiative and contribute to the students’ effort to create a unique and meaningful experience,” says Tomas Vievesis, one of the organizers of “Comic Con Baltics 2024: Powered by Samsung.”

Focus on Student Needs

MIDI 2024 organizers note that there are many students at the VU MIF who are interested in comics, video games, anime, and similar areas. This hobby provides them an opportunity to relax from their studies and spend time in an informal environment with like-minded individuals.

“This partnership proves that MIDI takes into account the needs and desires of VU MIF students, which encourages them to register for MIDI 2024 events. Furthermore, this integration opens up even more opportunities for VU MIF students – they can expand their circle of acquaintances and have fun,” says event organizer Agnė Petraitytė.

Event Held for the 43rd Time

Mathematicians and Computer Scientists’ Days (MIDI) is one of the largest and most important events organized by the students of the Faculty of Mathematics and Informatics at Vilnius University (VU MIF). Attracting more and more students each year, the event will take place for the 43rd time.

The event, happening from April 19 to 27 this year, will invite participants to dive into a stream of events full of secrets and hints, engaging even the most passive attendees freshly awakened from sleep. During this April week, event organizers will invite participation in a Rock Opera, LAN Party, Minecraft decathlon, chess tournament, company fair, sports days, quiz bowl, orienteering races, and a closing evening.

The event is free. More information about the MIDI 2024 program can be found here: https://www.facebook.com/events/792496072743499/
