“Comic Con Baltics” and “Samsung” Extend Partnership, Focus on Mobile Gaming
Following a successful collaboration last year, “Comic Con Baltics“ and „Samsung“ will continue their partnership. The new „Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra“ has been named the official smartphone of the event, reinforcing „Samsung’s“ support for the pop culture community in the Baltic region. The festival will now carry the official title “Comic Con Baltics 2025 powered by Samsung.”
One of last year’s standout initiatives, a mobile gaming tournament featuring the game „Brawl Stars“, exceeded expectations. Organized by „Samsung Electronics Baltics“ in cooperation with gaming content creator Karolis Jankauskas, known as „LTU Republic“, the tournament attracted nearly 5,000 participants—double the anticipated number. According to the organizers, such tournaments not only foster community among mobile gaming enthusiasts but also serve as a stepping stone toward professional stages and international championships.
“Smartphones are becoming an increasingly significant part of the gaming world. We see more and more people choosing them as their main gaming device. That’s why it’s important for us to be present where the local gaming communities gather and get their feedback. „Comic Con Baltics 2025“ is a perfect platform to showcase „Samsung’s“ latest technologies and demonstrate the capabilities of the „Galaxy S25 Ultra“ in person,” says Simonas Skupas, a representative Head of Mobile Experience at Samsung Electronics Baltics.
The Samsung „Galaxy S25 Ultra“ has been recognized by tech publications such as „PC Magazine“ and „TechRadar“ as the “best gaming smartphone of 2025.” The device features the Snapdragon 8 Elite for Galaxy processor combined with ProScaler technology. Ray tracing and Vulkan optimization deliver high-end visuals and smooth performance even in demanding games, while a fivefold increase in graphics performance and AI-driven frame prediction position the model as a leading option for mobile gamers.
“Every year, we aim to provide festival visitors with access to the latest technologies and games. Last year’s partnership with „Samsung“ proved highly successful, with mobile gaming tournaments becoming one of the festival’s main highlights. This year, we plan not only to continue this tradition but also to set new records in mobile gaming,” says Tomas Vievesis, one of the organizers of „Comic Con Baltics“.
During „Comic Con Baltics 2025“, the „Baltic Gaming Expo“ will offer visitors an opportunity to explore the latest gaming trends, including cutting-edge hardware, unreleased games, tournaments, and meetings with game developers.
„Comic Con Baltics 2025 powered by Samsung“ will take place on May 23–25 at the LITEXPO Exhibition Centre in Vilnius. The event will cater to a wide audience, not just gaming fans. Attendees will have the chance to meet international guests such as „Game of Thrones“ actor Jack Gleeson and „Red Dead Redemption“ stars Roger Clark and Rob Wiethoff. Comic book artists, including Valerie Minelli, known for her “Mrs. Frollein” series, Luis Coelho („purr.in.ink“), and Colombian creator Andrés J. Colmenares („Wawawiwa Comics“), will also be part of the lineup.
The program will feature the largest cosplay contest in the Baltics, the festival’s first-ever K-Pop dance contest, and “Meet the Lithuanian Film Industry” – a series of discussions and workshops with film professionals. A dedicated family zone will be available for the youngest visitors.
