“Baltics Gaming Expo 2026” Returns with One of the Strongest Programs in the Event’s History

The largest gaming and esports event in the Baltic States, “Baltics Gaming Expo 2026,” is entering a new stage of development this year. Following the success of the 2025 event, Vilnius has already established itself as a regional video game hub. This year, an even more ambitious program is planned, focusing on internationalization, top-level tournaments, and greater involvement of the gaming industry.

The three-day “Baltics Gaming Expo 2026” will feature nine tournaments across different games, ranging from “League of Legends” and “Counter-Strike 2” to “Trackmania,” “Street Fighter 6,” “Minecraft,” and others. For the first time in the event’s history, regional participation restrictions are being removed. Teams from around the world will be able to take part in the tournaments, except for Russia and Belarus. Tournament participants will compete for a prize pool of EUR 26,000.

“Baltics Gaming Expo 2026” continues to seek greater cooperation with local and international partners. Both the video game community and game developers and publishers themselves have actively contributed to shaping this year’s event program. For example, this year’s “Trackmania” tournament is supported by “Ubisoft,” one of France’s largest video game development companies.

Taking place for the third consecutive year, the “Developers Terrace” area will invite game developers to present their projects free of charge, make contacts with industry representatives, and receive direct feedback from visitors. Infrastructure for content creators is also being strengthened: streamers and content creators will be given the opportunity to have their own spaces at the event free of charge and create content in real time.

“This year, we are consciously raising the bar to a new level in terms of both the scale of the tournaments and the international scope of our partners. For the first time, we are opening the doors to teams from all over the world, because we can see that our event has already grown beyond the boundaries of the region. At the same time, it is very important for us to preserve the core of the community, which is why, together with game developers and partners, we are creating a platform where esports professionals and enthusiasts, as well as video game and content creators, will meet,” says Šarūnas Tamulis, one of the organizers of “Baltics Gaming Expo 2026.”

“Baltics Gaming Expo 2026” is part of the program of the “Comic Con Baltics 2026 sponsored by Samsung” festival. This new-generation entertainment festival is being organized for the eighth year and annually brings creators and actors from cult films, TV series, comics, and video games to Vilnius. On May 22-24, visitors will have the opportunity to try out the latest video games, as well as games that have already become cult favorites, and play them together with the most popular influencers. The “Meet Lithuanian Film Industry” program promises meetings with Lithuanian filmmakers and presentations of the latest films. The festival will also host the international Cosplay and K-Pop dance competitions, which have already become a tradition. A separate “Family Area” will be set up for the festival’s youngest participants.

The festival is partially funded by Vilnius City Municipality.
