Vytautas Valaitis, a lecturer at the Faculty of Mathematics and Informatics of Vilnius University (MIF VU) since 2011, is a true innovation enthusiast. His passion for computer architectures, artificial intelligence and programming not only enriches his students’ knowledge, but also inspires them to reach for the top.

V. Valaitis is not only an experienced teacher, but also an active practitioner. He is one of the creators of Lituanica SAT-1 and the founder of Drone Racing Lithuania. Since 2015, drone building has become an integral part of his life.

Another area of his interest is artificial intelligence. With the rise of AI, Valaičis has become very interested in understanding how its algorithms differ from classical ones and how they are implemented by computers of different architectures. Nowadays, he shares the results of this interest in his lectures on Computer Architecture, Computer Engineering, Robotics, Algorithms and Data Structures.
